Shanghai Fei Ter Mo Gu Bearing Co., Ltd. and Fei Te Mo Gu Composite Material Co., Ltd. were jointly funded by the Federal-Mogul Group and Shanghai Hua Yu Automotive Industry Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation, and were established in February 2000 and 2007 respectively. It mainly produces bearing bushes, bushings and thrust washers for engines used in gasoline engines, diesel engines and industrial equipment.
The newly-listed plant was jointly funded by the Federal-Mogul Group and Hua Yu Automobile with a total investment of RMB 380 million. The existing joint-bearing bearing factory and material factory were jointly relocated to the Zhipu Industrial Park in Zhoupu Town. The new plant is scheduled to be completed in November 2013 and the relocation of the bearing and material factories will be completed by December 2014.
