Seoul Semiconductor Acrich2 leads the green future of lighting technology

Sun Zhifei engineers pointed out at the meeting that Acrich2 lighting is a light source that can provide lighting designers with high efficiency, high power factor and improved THD performance. Traditional solid-state lighting solutions require additional components and cost when designing dimming performance. Acrich2 solution contains rectification function, which can provide working modules under different voltages, effectively control the volume of the radiator, make the drive smaller, the power utilization is more effective, the utilization rate can reach 90 or more, and the 200hz can regulate the ballast. Good control flicker problem, the IC's life span reaches 87,000 hours, and the anti-surge capability reaches 3000k. You can save at least $2.00 on these traditional solutions. The Acrich2 AC module also provides a DC dimming interface that allows designers to easily design new dimming functions such as touch sensors and WIFI control dimming.
Compared with the traditional solution, the life of Acrich2 is more than doubled. Except for the electrolytic capacitor short board in the traditional topology power supply design, the energy consumption is reduced by more than 2 times. Compared with the traditional AC design, the power factor is higher and the design is more convenient. More heat sink design than AC/DC links, saving money and saving at least 65 costs over incandescent bulbs.
LED light source is a long-life light source with a theoretical life of up to 50,000 hours. However, if the application circuit design is unreasonable, the circuit components are not properly selected, and the LED light source is not well cooled, it will affect its service life. Especially in the application circuit, the electrolytic capacitor, which is the output filter of the AC/DC rectifier bridge, has a service life of less than 5,000 hours, which has become a roadblock for manufacturing long-life LED lamp technology. The only viable and advanced solution is to design and produce a new generation of LED driver ICs that can eliminate electrolytic capacitors in the application circuit. In the new generation of designs, the traditional DC/DC topology design concept must be broken. In addition, LED driver ICs must be certified for EMC, safety, CE, UL, etc. in a variety of application circuits. The application circuit strives for simplicity and reduces the amount of components used, which is also a requirement for customers to reduce costs. Isolated and non-isolated applications have always been the focus of business security and efficiency, and the duty cycle of PWM controllers continues to increase.
In the production process, Sun Zhifei engineers assured the companies that the company has passed the UL certification and is applying for CE certification. The Seoul company can produce samples in accordance with the requirements of the customers within one week, and trial production in two weeks, and mass production in seven weeks. .
