The Danyang municipal government of Jiangsu and Japan’s Trade Promotion Agency (JETRO) recently launched the Danyang Japan Auto Parts Industrial Park, which is mainly composed of the Japan SME Auto Parts Cluster. The industrial park will start production in November this year.

It is reported that Japan's auto parts industrial park covers an area of ​​310 acres, with a total construction area of ​​103,000 square meters. According to the plan, the construction of Japan's auto parts industrial park will be divided into two phases. The first phase is mainly JAPIC (Japan Automobile Parts Industrial Park), and the second phase is JAEIC (Japan Automobile Equipment Industrial Park).

According to a person from the relevant department in Danyang, Japan’s parts supply system was temporarily stagnant due to the impact of the earthquake in Japan, which caused a huge impact on automobile manufacturers. Therefore, Japan's small and medium-sized component manufacturing companies will continue to accelerate the pace of building overseas plants. It is estimated that by the end of this year, Japan Automobile Parts Industrial Park (JAPIC) will station 30 to 50 companies and will enter 300 Japanese parts companies in the next three years.

It is understood that Japanese companies and organizations that join the Japan Automobile Parts Industrial Park will be supported by the local government and JAPIC-related organizations; the system of common procurement and production of raw materials, sharing of logistics channels, and joint management of employees will be adopted to reduce production costs; at the same time, JAPIC The members of the organization do not need to spend too much effort on relevant laws and regulations, customs clearance, and labor management. They will concentrate on production and research and development.
