For the dewatering of flotation concentrates, gravity can be used for natural dehydration, and the effect is better by means of centrifugal force. For the dewatering of flotation concentrate fine-grained materials, more complicated processes and equipment are required, which can be generally divided into three steps.
The first step is to concentrate and concentrate the dilute slurry containing a large amount of water to a slurry having a water content of 30 to 50%. Commonly used equipment includes sedimentation tanks, thick mud buckets and thickeners.
In the second step of filtration, the water and the solid are separated under a certain pressure by means of a filter medium to obtain a product having a water content of 8 to 16%. Common types of equipment are various types of filters.
The third step is to dry and dry the material with a dryer to reduce the water content to less than 6%.
Precipitation concentration is the process of sedimentation by the gravity of the ore itself, so the energy consumption is minimal. The filtering operation requires a certain pressure to overcome the resistance of the liquid as it passes through the medium, and the energy consumption is large. Drying operations require a large amount of heat to vaporize water, which consumes the most energy. However, comparing the absolute weight of the removed water, the precipitate is concentrated and removed most, the filtration is performed, and the drying operation is minimized. It can be seen that in the dehydration process, only by properly using various dehydration methods and equipments to fully exert their effectiveness can the production cost be reduced and labor productivity be improved.

Rod mill is widely used in mining and water resources and hydropower industry. It can satisfy the requirements of various kinds of ore, rock crushing and artificial sand production,the product granularity is homogeneous and have a less overgrinding material. In our company, the high efficiency energy saving rod mill use rolling bearing support is substituted for the plain bearing bush,and the grease with dry grease instead of thin oil lubrication station,the energy saving 10% ~ 20%. Under the same power condition, the production capacity increased by 10% to 20%. Due to the poor material liquidity produced by dry method,the production capacity is only 40% ~ 70% of wet production.
