· More than 75% of Americans worry about driverless car safety

According to a report by USA Today magazine on March 8, the latest survey by the American Automobile Association (AAA) shows that more than three-quarters of Americans are concerned about the safety of driverless cars.

The results of this survey are roughly the same as in 2016, with 78% of respondents expressing concern about driverless cars last year. But this year people generally said that they want to experience driverless technology, and 59% of them hope that their next car will have driverless technology.

The American Automobile Association (AAA) announced in a statement: "This indicates that American car owners are ready to meet the driverless technology, but have not completely abandoned the control of the car."

In addition, 54% of car owners in the United States believe that driverless cars will increase the risk of traffic accidents, and only 10% believe that driverless cars will improve driving safety. (
