Orland Fire District apparatus updates

Hey everyone, Just got back from visiting Orland Fire Protection District last Saturday (March 21, 2015). I had the chance to snap some photos of their new equipment and updates. It’s exciting to see how they’ve been upgrading their fleet. First off, there’s this brand-new engine that caught my eye. Along with it, Ambulance 4 has also been updated, and Truck 4 now sports a fresh look with a black stripe added to its design. The changes really make these vehicles stand out. One of the standout pieces is the 2013 Ford coupled with a 2008 Road Rescue Box. It’s impressive how well they’ve integrated older components into modern setups. Then there’s the 2014 Pierce Impel, which looks sleek and ready for action. The attention to detail in these vehicles is incredible—every little aspect seems to have been carefully thought out. I also got shots of another 2014 Pierce Impel, which is just as impressive as the first. Seeing these rigs side by side gives you a real sense of the progress they’re making. There’s also an older but still reliable 2004 Pierce Lance, which has clearly seen a lot of service over the years but remains a workhorse for the department. The photos really capture the essence of what these firefighters deal with daily. From the engine bumpers to the full apparatus, everything looks sharp and functional. It’s inspiring to see such dedication to maintaining top-notch equipment. Kevin Griffin did an amazing job capturing all these images. His photography really brings out the details in each vehicle, making it easy to appreciate the hard work and effort put into keeping Orland FPD running smoothly. If anyone’s interested in more details or specific shots, let me know! Always great to see departments investing in their resources. Take care, [Your Name]
