(NASDAQ: ADSK) announced its plan to acquire ProEst, a cloud-based estimating solution designed to help construction teams generate estimates, conduct digital takeoffs, prepare detailed reports and proposals, and manage bid-day processes. By integrating ProEst with Autodesk Construction Cloud—a comprehensive construction management platform that connects teams, data, and workflows across the entire building lifecycle—Autodesk aims to enhance its preconstruction offerings. This acquisition will enable construction teams to handle all their essential preconstruction and construction workflows on a single, unified platform.
ProEst, with clients like Geisinger, O’Brien Construction, Vantis, and Oswald, quickly and efficiently transforms project scopes into material, labor, and equipment costs. This capability not only accelerates the estimation process and strengthens bid submissions but also minimizes project risks and boosts the likelihood of securing work. With its cloud-based solution, ProEst allows customers to access estimating information anytime, anywhere, and import third-party cost databases to optimize workflows. By acquiring ProEst, Autodesk Construction Cloud will bolster its industry-leading cost management tools, providing teams with greater visibility into cost tracking and helping ensure project success.

**Business Outlook**
The transaction is subject to standard closing conditions and is expected to conclude during Autodesk’s fourth quarter of fiscal 2022, ending January 31, 2022. The acquisition will have no material effect on Autodesk’s fourth quarter or fiscal year 2022 guidance provided on November 23, 2021.
