Autodesk Sets the Record Straight

Last month, Autodesk filed for a preliminary injunction against the developers of ZWCAD+ software in the Netherlands. We strongly believe that ZWCAD+ was created using unauthorized portions of our code—specifically, parts of AutoCAD 2008. Over the past three decades, AutoCAD has become an indispensable tool for countless architects, designers, engineers, and creative professionals who bring ideas to life through innovation and imagination. It's crucial that we protect our intellectual property because allowing unauthorized use undermines our efforts and those of our loyal customers. Recently, some representatives from ZWCAD affiliates have made statements that seem to misrepresent the situation surrounding this lawsuit. To clarify matters, we wanted to share our perspective directly. On April 7, the court delivered its initial judgment. In response, ZWCAD Design portrayed the outcome as a decisive victory, which isn't entirely accurate. This was merely a preliminary hearing, and several stages remain before a final decision is reached. Legal processes often involve multiple hearings and reviews, so it will take time to reach a conclusion. Although the court denied the request for an immediate injunction, they did require ZWCAD+ to submit their source code, build scripts, mastering scripts, and third-party components for examination by a neutral third party. This opens the door for a detailed analysis comparing ZWCAD+ and AutoCAD during future proceedings. The court noted that the presence of numerous features in ZWCAD+ that mirror AutoCAD 2008—even if some could be seen as non-essential or even bugs—provides enough reason to investigate further, regardless of the explanations provided by ZWCAD+. We see this initial ruling as progress toward ensuring fairness and protecting our work. Looking ahead, we’re eager to move forward with the upcoming review process. It’s important to uphold integrity within our industry, and we’ll continue advocating for the rightful protection of our innovations.

Single Screw Extruder: High speed and efficiency It is ceramic heating which assures good plasticization and uniform heating of raw materials. Also it assures high speed and stable production and great output.
Co-extrusion Die: Unique five layer co-extrusion technology ensures high and stable quality for aluminum plastic composite pipe. Advanced calibrating technology can develop the calibration quality.

Vacuum Calibrating Water Tank: The body uses good quality stainless steel board equipped with ABS nozzle and anti-blocking impurities structure. It has long service life and the frame can be adjusted from three dimensions. There is roller in the shade.
Water Spray Cooling Tank:The body is made of stainless steel and the shade is transparent soft PVC curtain which ensures good cooling effect.

Haul-off Machine: It adopts frequency convertor, pneumatic clamping and working simultaneously with the whole extrusion line.
