(4) The elements in the manganese-silicon alloy are distributed as follows: 8% silicon into the alloy, silicon utilization rate is 75% (excluding 8% entering the alloy), and manganese, iron and phosphorus are 100% into the alloy.
(5) slag basicity n (CaO) / n (SiO 2 ) = 1.4.
(6) Based on the calculation of 100kg manganese ore, the amount of manganese-silicon alloy and the amount of lime are required.
Second, the ingredients calculation
(1) Calculation of the amount of manganese-silicon alloy The calculation of the amount of silicon required is shown in Table 3.

The amount of phosphorus in the manganese ore is 100×0.0009×0.7=0.06(kg)
The total amount of alloy is 59.87+12+4.77+0.06=76.70(kg)
