Recovering cesium from tin slag

In order to eliminate the interference of zirconium, H 3 PO 4 can be added to remove the zirconium to form Zr(HPO 4 ) 2 precipitate, Zr(HPO 4 ) 2 will adsorb ruthenium, but increasing the acidity can reduce the adsorption of ruthenium, and the mother liquor after zirconium removal, Extraction with P 2 O 4 did not form a third phase.

The crude cerium oxide is dissolved in hydrochloric acid, and the Oxalic Acid precipitate is burned to form cerium oxide. Then, the cerium oxide is dissolved by hydrochloric acid, precipitated by sodium thiosulfate, acid-soluble, and the iodate of titanium, zirconium and strontium is removed by precipitation with carbonate to further purify the hydrazine, and finally converted into cerium oxide, the purity is over 99%. The recovery rate of hydrazine was 55.4%.
