In today's rapidly evolving digital landscape, governments across the globe are pushing for accelerated digital transformation and intelligent applications. Recognizing this trend, Autodesk has joined forces with the Taiwan Architecture and Building Center (TABC) to sign an MOU focused on enhancing capabilities within the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industries in Taiwan. Through this partnership, both organizations aim to promote advanced technologies like Fusion 360 and Building Information Modeling (BIM), while also offering training programs designed to cultivate innovative talent. Fusion 360, which has already gained significant traction among manufacturers, startups, and maker communities in Taiwan, now seeks broader acceptance within the architectural community. As Chin-Fu Yang, Chairman of TABC, expressed, "Autodesk Fusion 360 represents a transformative leap for Taiwan's architecture industry. By integrating seamlessly with existing workflows, it paves the way for smarter buildings, communities, and even entire cities." Rui-Lin Chen, Director of the Architecture and Building Research Institute, echoed similar sentiments, emphasizing the critical role of BIM in modern architecture. He noted that the Ministry of the Interior is actively encouraging local adoption of BIM and planning its integration into public infrastructure projects to stay competitive globally. This MOU marks another milestone in Autodesk's ongoing dedication to strengthening design and construction ecosystems in Taiwan. It builds upon previous initiatives such as the "Design Dream Voyage," which empowers K-12 students to explore creative possibilities through cutting-edge design tools. Richard Li, Autodesk's Managing Director for Greater China, highlighted the company's commitment to elevating 3D design standards in Taiwan. "We are thrilled to collaborate with TABC to share our expertise and drive the architecture industry forward," he stated. With this collaboration, both parties hope to unlock new opportunities and foster growth in the smart building sector. In addition to promoting technology adoption, the partnership also focuses on nurturing future leaders who can spearhead advancements in digital architecture. By combining resources and knowledge, Autodesk and TABC aim to create a robust ecosystem where innovation thrives, ultimately benefiting not only Taiwan but also the global AEC community.
