On October 16-19, 2010, China Institute of Internal Combustion Engines held the 7th National Congress of Members and the 8th Annual Academic Conference in Shanghai. The general election was held at the meeting. Yuchai was elected as the vice chairman unit of the “China Combustion Engine Societyâ€. The chief engineer Shen Jie was elected as the vice chairman of the new “China Combustion Engine Societyâ€. Prof. Zhuo Bin was elected as the new session. "China Combustion Engine Society" Standing Director and Deputy Director of the Expert Committee.
The 2nd "Outstanding Achievement Award", 2010 "Outstanding Contribution Award", 2010 "Shi Shaoxi Talent Award" and the "Outstanding Paper Award" Award Ceremony of the 8th Academic Annual Meeting of the China Internal Combustion Engine Society were held at the meeting. Professor Zhuo Bin Won the second "Outstanding Achievement Award" of China Internal Combustion Engine Institute. The winners of the 2005 “Outstanding Achievement Award†were President Jiang Deming, Professor Gu Hongzhong, and Professor Su Wanhua.
