US Axle 2011-2013 Increases US$850 Million U.S. Dollars

Automobile axle supplier American Axle Company (abbreviated as “AAM”) announced on November 16, 2010 that the company’s new orders for 2011-2013 will reach US$850 million. This is 20% more than AAM's order volume in 2010-2012.

AAM's business orders for 2011-2013 will help the company achieve its target of annual sales of 3 billion US dollars in 2013 and may achieve a compound annual growth rate of 10% during 2011-2013.

More than two-thirds of orders are from passenger cars, cross-border vehicles and commercial vehicle projects. In addition, more than 60% of orders are from outside North America, which will help the company to rapidly expand in emerging markets such as Brazil, China, India and Thailand.
