The internal information equipment and mobile information devices are connected to the electric vehicle charging station. The electric vehicle charging station is connected to the Internet to provide consumers with information services.
Fukuoka City and Kyushu Electric Power Company will provide event information, travel information, disaster prevention information, and other information for the system. The system will help promote the use of electric vehicles and create a low-carbon society. Denso, Kyushu Electric Power, and Fukuoka City will begin demonstration tests on the system at the end of the fiscal year 2011-2012, and consider whether to put the system into commercial use based on the test results.
