Fast's production of hydraulic retarder for heavy trucks

The new hydraulic retarder tailored by the Fast Group for heavy trucks has been put into mass production a few days ago, filling the gap in the domestic market and providing support for the upgrading of domestic heavy trucks.

The Fast Retarder Project was started in 2006 and lasted five years in R&D and trial production. The relevant experiments were successfully completed. The control program, the mechanical assembly and the vehicle's matching test were successfully implemented, and the design was based on China's national conditions. A new installation interface allows the maximum retarding torque to reach 4000N·m. It can be matched with Fast 6 to 16 speed transmissions. Compared with eddy current retarder commonly used in the market today, it has the advantages of fast and stable braking, flexible and safe operation, and good operating economy. The specific performance is light weight, large braking torque, soft braking, no impact, high comfort, no large electromagnetic field, large braking power, no declining braking force, no additional battery, easy installation and maintenance.

Through research and independent innovation, Fast's hydraulic retarder has broken the technical barriers of multinational companies, and its core technology with complete independent intellectual property rights has reached the international level. The excellent retarding performance meets the requirements of multiple positions for heavy trucks, large load capacity, high power, high vehicle speed, and individual users, providing safe and reliable auxiliary brake devices for medium and heavy trucks.
