Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle sold 167,000 heavy trucks in the first 11 months of 2012

In November 2012, Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. sold a total of 95,000 vehicles, a decrease of 26.7% year-on-year. Among them, passenger vehicles sold 65,000 vehicles, a year-on-year decrease of 26.2%; commercial vehicles sold 30 thousand vehicles, a year-on-year decrease of 28.0%. From January to November, Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. sold 1.261 million vehicles, which was basically the same as that of the same period of last year.

The cumulative sales of commercial vehicles totaled 377,000 units, a year-on-year decrease of 20.9%. Among them, Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Company sold a total of 303,000 vehicles, which was basically the same as last year. In the main business of Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Co., Ltd., the cumulative sales of heavy trucks totaled nearly 167,000 units. This was a month-on-month increase. The market share showed a growth trend, and the medium-duty trucks continued to maintain its leading position in the industry.

Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. sold a total of 244,000 vehicles, and the overall sales volume declined slightly. However, there was still a good growth trend in passenger cars (including passenger car chassis), high-end light trucks, and MPV market segments.
