According to the national plan for the South-to-North Water Transfer Project, the Xiaoqing River Valley in Shandong Province where Qilu Petrochemical Company is located is a key area through the Eastern Route. This transformation will mainly increase the facilities for further removal of COD and ammonia nitrogen, and its drainage will meet the water quality requirements for the Xiaoqing River Basin where COD is less than 60 mg/L and ammonia nitrogen is less than 6 mg/L. This is the highest standard for wastewater discharge in non-landscape companies.
