The Third Working Meeting on the Localization of Nuclear Power Key Instruments was Held

Guidance: In order to speed up the promotion of the localization of nuclear power key instruments, entrusted by the National Energy Administration, the China National Machinery Industry Federation and National Energy Nuclear Power Device Instrument R&D (Experiment) Center organized and held a “Nuclear Power Key Instrument” on July 19, 2011 in Shanghai. The meeting was chaired by Yan Yongbin, a special advisor of China Machinery Industry Federation. Also attending the meeting were the nuclear power regulatory authorities such as the North China Nuclear and Radiation Safety Monitoring Station of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, the nuclear and radiation safety center of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, representatives of local governments such as the Shanghai Municipal Development and Reform Commission, the Shanghai Municipal Economic and Information Commission, and the Shanghai Municipal Nuclear Power Office. Representatives of China Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd., National Nuclear Engineering Co., Ltd., China Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd. and other three nuclear power group representatives, as well as leaders and representatives of instrument manufacturing companies and system integrators totaling more than 20 units.

At the meeting, Xu Honghai, director of the national instrumentation R&D (experiment) center of the National Energy Nuclear Power Plant, gave a detailed introduction to the implementation plan for localization of nuclear power key instruments. Delegates held active discussions on the contents of the "Implementation Plan" and put forward valuable suggestions for rationalization.

Deputy Director Huang Hao read out the list of localization work teams and expert committees at the meeting, and announced that the localization project for nuclear power key meters will be launched immediately after the meeting. She encouraged the delegates to face challenges, and based on the working ideas of "government promotion, supervisory participation, manufacturing first, owner cooperation, production, research, joint research and development, and sharing of results," she learned the successful experience of the localization of nuclear pump valves. Strive to use three years to overcome the difficulties in the localization of key instruments and special control systems for nuclear power to ensure the independent and safe development of nuclear power in China.

The meeting defined the goal and implementation plan for localization of nuclear power key instruments, determined the organization of localization promotion work, strengthened the determination and confidence of each unit in implementing localization, and was an important milestone in the progress of localization of nuclear power key instruments. . Its successful convocation marked that the National Energy Administration officially initiated the localization of the nuclear power instrument control system for the final barrier to the nationalization of China's nuclear power equipment, which is of great significance.
