CNHTC Jinan Commercial Vehicle Company began trial production and development of natural gas products in 2008. In August 2010, it began to plan the production license certification of natural gas vehicle products, and organized related work instructions, quality manuals, and program documents. The document clarifies the responsibilities and authorities of each department, formulates the quality policy and quantified and measurable quality objectives, and appoints quality assurance engineers and persons responsible for each system, which lays a solid foundation for the establishment of a quality assurance system.
The audit team inspected the establishment and operation of the company's quality assurance system in accordance with the “Basic Requirements for the Quality Assurance System for Manufacturing, Installation, Rebuilding, and Repair of Special Equipmentâ€, according to the “Technical Requirements for the Conversion of Gas Vehicles†(GB/T 17676) and “Compressed Natural Gasâ€. The requirements for the installation of special-purpose vehicles (GB/T 19240), on-site air tightness tests, cylinder support strength tests, and nitrogen replacement tests were performed. All test results were in compliance with the requirements of relevant national laws and regulations. . The expert review team highly appraised the achievements made in the establishment and operation of the quality assurance system, and recognized the conformity of the produced natural gas automotive products.
