As of November 29, two 14 MW condensing vacuum boilers independently developed by Jidong Oilfield Machinery Co., Ltd. have been operating safely and steadily for 20 days. This is the single gas-fired vacuum boiler with the largest single power in China, each capable of meeting the heating needs of 200,000 square meters of residential area.
After testing, the average thermal efficiency of this type of condensing gas-fired vacuum boiler is up to 96%, which is 4 percentage points higher than that of conventional gas-fired boilers to 5 percentage points. It is expected that a single boiler can save more than 100,000 cubic meters of natural gas during a heating period.
In view of the low return water temperature of the heating system, the R&D team of Jidong Oilfield Machinery Co., Ltd. took the lead in applying the flue gas condensation technology to high-power boilers, and used the large amount of phase change latent heat released by partially condensing the water vapor in the flue gas for heating. Backwater greatly improves thermal efficiency. At the same time, the use of oxygen content feedback control of the distribution of wind technology, effective control of exhaust heat loss, reduce the generation and emission of harmful gases, energy saving and environmental protection effect is good.
This type of boiler is also safe, compact and easy to operate. The boiler shell pressure is always lower than the ambient atmospheric pressure, and the safety performance is excellent.
