According to the requirements of the FIA, the maximum power of the Formula E power system in the new season should reach 250kw, and the battery pack capacity should reach 54kWh. The new requirements will undoubtedly give the old suppliers a big challenge and also give Porsche pressure. In addition to the layout of Formula E, Porsche also uses hybrid racing cars in Le Mans, which is quite accumulated in battery technology. In terms of civilian vehicles, Porsche will start production of Mission E in 2020. This electric vehicle project will invest 700 million euros and will create 1,400 jobs.
