As an important part of the China Medical City, the entrepreneurial service platform will be constructed and operated by Taizhou Hi-Tech Venture Service Center and Taizhou Huacheng High-tech Investment Development Co., Ltd. The planned entrepreneurial service platform will build a modern biomedical technology innovation system that focuses on the creation of new drugs and aims at the industrialization of pharmaceuticals, and integrates business incubation, basic research and development, pilot production, research support, and property rights trading. Among them, three major public experimental platforms, including basic laboratories, comprehensive laboratories and pilot bases, will be established to facilitate the research and development of new drugs, pharmaceutical intermediates and medical devices. The platform will be implemented in two phases. The first phase of the project will start from this year and will be completed in June 2008. Public laboratories and Chinese medicine pilot bases will be built. The second phase of the project will be completed by the end of 2009. The goal is to build a first-class open public service support platform in China.
