Users of GOPRO operating cameras are looking for a convenient way to charge their batteries during downtime and may be interested in the new GOPRO wireless charger, called Jolt, which has been launched on the Kickstarter website. As an enthusiastic GOPRO user, we know the trouble of charging batteries. You must either open the case, plug in the camera, and wait for the battery to charge, or remove the battery and place it on the charger to charge it. None of these options are good if you are shooting some great moves, especially outdoors, around the water, sand or dust.
We and other GOPRO users want to eliminate this inconvenience. We think we should have a better way! So we started to set up a wireless charger that lets you simply place the camera on the battery inside the charging pad's camera and housing. In fact, you can charge as many cameras or batteries as you can (up to 3 batteries or 2 cameras).
In the past year, after testing multiple wireless charging technologies and products, we have found the right technology and the world's most cutting-edge wireless charging company, Mojo Mobile. Mojo is leading in wireless charging technology and their technical support has more than 40 US and international patents. We teamed up with them to design and build our prototype.
