The high-tech characteristic industrial base of auto parts was approved in January 2009 as a high-tech characteristic industrial base of the National Torch Program. By the end of 2013, the base enterprises realized an annual total income of 28.25 billion yuan, a high-tech industry output value of 20.67 billion yuan, and a tax revenue of 1.94 billion yuan, accounting for more than 23% of Anqing's total economic output.
