Xiangtan manganese mine inclined shaft development

Xiangtan manganese ore two expansion zone, orebody bedded, occurs in Sinian black shales, is exogenous shallow bed manganese carbonate deposition. The inclination angle of the ore body is 40° on average, and the control of the area is about 2000m long, and the depth is about 300m along the slope. The structure of the ore body is complex, the faults are numerous, and the floor is undulating. Hydrogeology is moderately complex. The designed scale is 250,000 tons of raw ore per year (partial construction was carried out in 1958 with an annual output of 800,000 tons of raw ore).
The mine uses the inclined shaft of the bucket as the main lifting well, and there are 4 auxiliary inclined shafts and inclined shafts for ventilation. Because the mine uses water sand filling mining method, there are three sets of sand injection systems. See Figure 1 for the mine development system.

(1) The main inclined shaft (Hongqi Well) is located between the east and west wings of the mining area, adjacent to the crushing, sintering workshop and industrial site. The single-hopper bucket with a volume of 2.7m 3 is lifted with a 5t counterweight, the track gauge of the inclined well is 1100mm, and the balance of the balance hammer is 400mm. The design stipulates that the red flag well does not enter the wind.
(2) The upstream well mainly transports personnel, materials and raised waste rock. Use string car to lift. The well is an entry shaft.
(3) Advance well: The total return air well in the middle of the mining area will be used to upgrade some waste rock.
(4) Dongfeng Well: The east enters the wind well to raise part of the waste rock.
(5) Shengli well: Since the upstream wellhead is located at 270m below the downwind of the sinter plant, in order to prevent pollution, the Shengli well is drilled in the eastern part of the upstream well for the special well for entering the wind.
