(2) Stirring and causing a large amount of air bubbles by means of the aeration stirring action of the floating concentrator, causing the air in the slurry to be dispersed to form a large number of bubbles, or to cause the air dissolved in the slurry to form microbubbles.
(3) The mineralized ore particles of the bubbles selectively adhere to the bubbles, which is the most basic behavior in the floating beneficiation process.
(4) The formation of the mineralized foam layer and the scraping of the mineralized gas bubbles rise from the lower part of the floating ore dressing tank to the mineralized foam surface to form a mineralized foam layer, and the useful minerals are enriched into the foam, which is scraped out to become a concentrate (middle mine) product. The non-target minerals remain in the floating ore dressing tank for sorting purposes. Generally, the minerals floating in the floating beneficiation operation are useful minerals. Such a floating beneficiation process is called positive floating beneficiation. Conversely, the floating ore dressing mineral is a gangue, which is called anti-floating beneficiation (or inverse floating beneficiation).
