The implementation of park management can effectively integrate waste plastic resources, reduce waste water discharge, reduce treatment costs and environmental protection management costs, and increase the degree of resource recycling intensive and industrialization. At present, some regions in Sichuan and other provinces have implemented modern park management on waste plastics recycling and gathering places and achieved remarkable results. Specialization, scale, intensive, and relying on technological innovation to enhance competitiveness will be the future direction of the industry.

According to statistics, China's recycling of waste plastics in 2011 was nearly 15 million tons, imported waste plastics were nearly 9 million tons, and the apparent consumption of waste plastics reached 24 million tons, accounting for about 30% of China’s apparent consumption of plastics.
