The full-component trace heavy metal analytical instrument development and application demonstration project passed the acceptance

[ China Instrument Network Instrument Development ] On September 19, 2018, the China National Environmental Monitoring Center took the lead in the national major scientific instrument and equipment development project "Development and Application of Total Component Trace Heavy Metal Analysis Instrument Based on Mass Spectrometry (2011YQ060100)" project In Hangzhou, Zhejiang, the company successfully passed the comprehensive inspection and acceptance organized by the Science and Technology Evaluation Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology.

The total funding of the project is 54.49 million yuan, of which the central government has allocated funds of 30.49 million yuan and self-raised funds of 24 million yuan. The project is led by China Environmental Monitoring Center, Concentration Technology (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd., Tsinghua University, Fudan University, Henan Environmental Monitoring Center, Hubei Environmental Monitoring Center Station, Dalian Environmental Monitoring Center, China Food Fermentation Industry Research Institute, China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), Zhejiang Institute of Geology and Mineral Resources, Wuhan Tianhong Instrument Co., Ltd., and the People's Liberation Army Army Chemical Defense College and other 12 units jointly completed.
The project research broke through a number of key technologies of plasma emission spectrometry (ICP-MS) instruments, applied for 41 patents (including 12 invention patents), and successfully developed a specialized high-end ICP-MS with completely independent intellectual property rights. Instruments and related ancillary equipment; application demonstration in four areas such as environmental monitoring, geological minerals, food testing, environmental safety (military special pollution monitoring), forming more than 40 items of analytical methods and technical specifications (draft) for applied instruments in various fields , published more than 70 papers. On the basis of instrument development and application demonstration, the project has carried out product engineering and industrialization construction; R&D products have been successfully realized for sales and use, and have good market application prospects.
The completion of this project will effectively promote the technological advancement of domestic high-end analytical instruments and the further improvement of the processing capability of key components; it will effectively support the application requirements of domestic heavy metals and other elements for monitoring and analysis, major project construction and emergency application and disposal; The sales price of similar foreign products will save foreign exchange reserves; at the same time, it will effectively break through the application blockade of similar foreign products in China's national defense and nuclear industries, and serve cutting-edge industries such as the defense industry.
