The Winnetka Fire Department, part of MABAS Division 3, has officially put their new quint into service, marking a fresh chapter in the department's visual identity. The 2010 Smeal quint was delivered with a black roof, and the department introduced a new door seal design. This updated look features a gold and black Maltese cross, incorporating both "Winnetka" and "Kenilworth" into the emblem. Engine 28, a 2000 Pierce Saber, has also been refreshed with a black top, the new decal, and updated striping. Similarly, Ambulance 28 now sports the same new graphics. However, Engine 28R and Ambulance 28R still retain the original appearance, including the older door decal.
